On 19th March 2020, the cost of a standard national stamp will change from €1 to €1.10 and an international stamp from €1.70 to €1.80.
The price change, which is the first in three years, is reflective of European post service price changes according to An Post.
An important thing to note, is that all existing stamps will remain fully valid after 19th March and any additional postage may be purchased at any post office. All stamps showing the 'N' denomination will be carried over at the value of €1.10 and similarly 'W' stamps will be carried over at the new international letter rate of €1.80.
